Author Q & A - Five Questions

Five Questions

with

Cassondra Windwalker

Author

It's always fun to learn a few random facts about the authors on this site. Let's see if Cassondra has any surprises for us!

1. Where do you want to go more than any other place in the world?

I'd dearly love to go to Ireland, but I'd need more than a few days. I've dreamed of going there since I did a country report when I was ten and decided pretty much immediately that it was my destiny to die fighting for her freedom. I don't think anyone is going to sign me up for combat at this point, but perhaps I could convince the odd fey to share a dram with me somewhere.

2. Do you believe in ghosts?

I considered myself an open-minded skeptic on the subject of ghosts until I encountered them myself. They would open doors, turn on lights and ceiling fans, open all the kitchen cabinets in the middle of the night. I decided they were benevolent when they once made the bed for me just as I normally did on a day when I'd been in too much of a hurry. Although I'm still open-minded - perhaps they weren't ghosts at all but simply sojourners in a parallel dimension a little close to ours.

3. Right brained or left brained?

I'm so right-brained, I'm barely mechanical enough to tie my own shoelaces. I am NOT a well-rounded personality. I do love science, but entirely theoretically: introduce math and I'll run as if you'd tried to hand me a Brussel sprout.

4. Favorite 80’s movie.

I hesitate to say this, because The Princess Bride is not an '80's movie, it is the movie, the only movie, for the absolute ages. If I'm ever held hostage, I'll keep myself at my current level of (in)sanity by reciting itself to myself beginning to end till I dig myself out.

5. Is it okay to sleep with socks on?

It is never okay to sleep with socks on, but sometimes I am forced to commit this ultimate sacrilege on account of my Raynaud's disease. It's very ridiculous and I'm deeply ashamed, but it does keep my toes from falling off.
